1. Death to analog was mainly done by Amir and Ryan. Will Brandon and Elias be more implicated for the next Julien-k album? And will this album still be a great mixture of electro and rock music?

Absolutely. Brandon and Elias will be part of this record to a greater extent than the last. The record will also have our sound, dark electro with a rock twist. Expect more emphasis on the electro side, although I did just write a new song that is almost entirely guitar, heavy, trudging, and grungy guitar.

2. Few months ago, Level 7 had several justice problems. How is it nowadays? What are your projects with this label? Can you tell us more about it?

Level 7 may never fully recover form its ordeal with the US government, even though our CEO had his case thrown out by a federal judge and was acquitted of all charges. It took so long for the case to get thrown out; the company may have been damaged beyond repair. Were not sure yet. In the meantime, we are recording new material as I type, and we intend on releasing as soon as it’s done no matter the situation with Level 7.

3. How did you come up to meet with Tiefdruck? This tracklist of Death to analog seems to be what you guys wanted to dot since the beginning, why were “Killing field” and “Dreamland” not on Metropolis’s edition?

I met Daniel from Teifdruk Records in Germany at a male brothel. The rest is history.

Killing Fields and Dreamland were held back so we would have some cool bonus material for different territories (like yours!).

4. Are you planning to work with other bands for your next record or live performances?

Of course.

So far, the new record has been a collaboration featuring Julien-K and many of our electronic/DJ friends.

5. Is there a possibility of a DVD release within the year?

I suppose its possible.

6. Ryan : you’ve been coached by Chester and Amir. How they helped you to improve yourself as a singer?

Amir is my “taste meter”. He is hard to please, which is helpful. Chester helped me find the “inner power” you need to actually sing the shit and make it sound good.

7. Everyone : what are you the most proud of in your musical career?

Selling a few million records in Orgy, a band that everyone thought sounded like shit when we first started. I’m extremely proud that Amir and I have been able to launch so many different acts and different sounds while still being real and credible as artists.

8. Amir : you created Circuit Freq Records with Fu. Nowadays, you seem to evolve towards more electronic productions. The last project that was different was the work done with Red Tape. Are there still some rock bands seeking for your help?

Yes! There are many Rock bands that still seek my help. I’m always open to work on ALL kinds of projects, as I love many styles of music!

9. Amir and Brandon: you are DJ on top of being a part of three bands. What pressed you to become DJs and participate to events in clubs?

First and foremost I LOVE club music! But mainly I really love DJIng and playing (or hearing) new music. It always helps me push my craft forward.

10. Amir and Ryan : We know there might be an Orgy reunion in 2010. Will it take the form of a simple show, a complete tour or a new album with everything (tour, singles, videos..)? What can you say to all Orgy fans that have been waiting for almost six years?

We’re not sure, but we have definitely been talking with Orgy about doing SOMETHING. We just don’t know what it will be yet. There will definitely be a tour at least.

11. Amir and Ryan : How are you planning to deal with Dead by sunrise and Orgy's cases? (example : six months of work with Dead by sunrise, then three months with Orgy, and once again back to Julien-k?) How will you manage that? Will you guys be able to participate in three bands considering the fact it’s already a lot of work to belong to just one group? In fact, what's your priority band between these three groups?

We already are participating in all 3, in exactly the manner you suggested above! We give priority to the band we are in at the moment. if we are promoting a JK record, then that’s priority. If were on tour with DBS, then its priority.

12. A little word for Orgy-France?

THANK YOU SO MUCH! WE LOVE YOU AND WE LOVE FRANCE!!
